Mike/Becky - This is our last day of homemade slurpees before we move from the Disciples of Mercy compound. Pastor Jasper and his church leaders had expressed that they'd like to have us relocated closer into town, as we don't have our own transportation, and he doesn't like us taking the public transportation (matatus, 15-passenger vans packed full of people, or hop on the back of some one's bike, either way) as he says they are unsafe. He or Pastor Tobias picks us up most days, but sometimes it can be hard for them to work out - and sometimes their vehicles break down too so then we're all stuck. So we'll be moving to an apartment in Milimani, an area in town where we can walk to the market, to the Deliverance church, etc. It'll be a good thing. We'll miss Natalie and her family, but we'll still be stopping in to check things out! We'll also miss our freezer, and our delicious Slurpees that we make every day...haha :)
